Shortie DoWop

Due to all the rain going on I had to RECURL all my hair. Took about 10 mins tops. I used Redken Heat glide first and then curled with a tiny flat iron on 430 degrees. My hair does not hold heat well because it is so fine but it turned out nice. 

Stay In Touch

Ever have a lipstick that you so badly want to love... this is MAC "Stay In Touch" for me. 

I love a light application because it is almost a nude. But if you apply too much it has more of a brick color which I hate on my mouth.

I was going for more of a natural look so I did some light gold on my lid and let the lips speak for themselves. I plan on keeping this color.

Hello Short Hair LOVAHS! The sole purpose of this blog is to go hand in hand with my fashion blog PoisedNPolished. Hair is very much a statement piece and the way it is styled can make or break an outfit! While surfing the web and learning to take care of my own hair I could not find a blog that focused on short hair or the "pixie cut". Not only that but every hair forum I have ever been on was catered to long hair/weaves/and wigs. So I created this place for those with short hair to come and get ideas and inspiration! Hope I do my short hair girls proud!

When my hair grows out at the top I can't wait to rock it like this!

I love Chrisette Michelle. Her music is dope but her hair is the DOPEST! I hope once the top of mine grows out I can style it like this!

Malinda Williams is another short hair icon of mine! I have never seen her hair out of place! It looks healthy!

This was my hair last year. I cut it myself after being natural for almost two years. I just needed a change. The top was a little longer then but I always wore it flat! I wish my hair would get back to this point I am ready to try a few things!

Mac 2N

This Mac gloss is my new staple... it's called 2N. I know nothing really about MAC but each time I have gotten a lipglass every color has been perfect!

I know the application is not that great but I can't keep this lovely color to myself! I took and posted soon as I could. 

Here is a better day. Same gloss this time layered over MAC "stay in touch". I know I will, with both of these products!

How can you not love the simplicity of a nice subtle gloss?

I wore my hair like this. I had been to the shop two days prior. It is almost identical to when I left the shop. At night I tie it up with a satin scarf or men's do-rag scarf. I usually put a light moisturizer in like Elasta QP's Mango Butter. Then I brush and apply the scarf. In the morning it will look like this and I fluff the top.
